One of the most difficult things to do on a busy morning, is to find time for breakfast, a healthy breakfast, not to mention a fruity breakfast. People who know me well, know how fruits and I go. There are a very few fruits I like, let alone love. But, with an attempt to eating healthy, I have been trying to incorporate more fruits into my diet. If you are like me, and are finding ways to eat more fruits, here are some tips: When I get back from grocery shopping with fruits in the bag, I clean and cut a couple of portion sizes, so that they are ready for a quick side to any meal, or a healthy snack.
This honeyberry smoothie was born out of such portion sizes.
1 cup of chopped honeydew melon
1 cup of sliced strawberries
1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt
1 tbsp honey
Add all of these into a blender and zip. Enjoy!!
Verdict: It was pure and simple. And the possibilities with smoothies are endless. Planning to add some flax meal to future smoothie ventures to make it even more healthy.Pin It
